The bible speaking in Proverbs 18:21 says that “the tongue can speak words that bring life or death. Those who love to talk must be ready to accept what it brings”.
Have you thought of the implications of speaking words with deadly possibilities?
Have you also thought of the implications of repeatedly calling forth what does not have bearing in the Lord?
Talking about the kind of names we bear, names we give our kids, names we call our businesses, even names we bear for fun and call nickname.
The name you give your child will tell clearly if you decoded from eternity the destiny of that child.
1 Chronicles 4:9-10 says, Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.”
10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.
Jabez needed a reorder, he understood the meaning of what he was called, so he went back to the one who had the capacity to change what had been said.
