#HeartCheckTuesday: WHAT IS HE SAYING?
Should we really fret when the storm is raging? Don’t you think that your current state should be completely sponsored by the verdict of God par time?
What is He saying now? Have you been able to discern the mind of God in the storm?
Come to think of it, have you followed the mind shift series with Rev Austin? You will understand that an anxious mind cannot possibly hear God, because all you hear is the sound of anxiety, fear, and worry. Your mind becomes clouded with so much noise, and this hinders your ability to hear God clearly.
Let’s take a walk to Mark 4:37 - And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.38 - But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, ‘Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?’
Hey, who sleeps in the midst of the storm? Scripture records that the waves began to break into the boat, and it was almost getting full. Yes, it was worth the fear and anxiety, but could something be done? Obviously, without fear.
How many times did you fret over a matter, but Jesus still came through along the line? Did you really need to be anxious and fearful like you were? Psalms 46:10 says ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth’
*Dear HeartChecker,*God is teaching us stillness in the midst of the storm. Being still is an instruction and not a suggestion. He will come through when he chooses, while expecting, BE STILL …
Without fear and anxiety, be rest assured there is a way out.
